Museum of Fine Arts opens exhibit of revealing photos that document horrors of the Holocaust

Henryk Ross, a press photographer before World War II, was assigned by the Nazis to take propaganda photos of the ghetto, but he surreptitiously took photos of daily life and the deportations that began in 1942. “Memory Unearthed: The Lodz Ghetto Photographs of Henryk Ross,” offers a profoundly disturbing record of the Nazi ghetto.
