In the early ’70s, when Jim Broussard came out at 16 years old and then, when the situation became untenable, dropped out of high school, he had no idea that he would become an artist or that he’d end up in Provincetown, where former square pegs so often find refuge.He grew up in Montvale, N.J., in the suburbs just a short ride over the George Washington Bridge from New York City.
